I normally don’t go out of my way to post online reviews but everyone at the office is always so helpful. I always feel valued which is so important these days! I’ve lived at many apartments in the valley and The View @ Cascade has exceeded my expectations! I have already referred a few friends to move in. I personally love it here!

After nearly 25 months, our family is moving out of Unit 2021 in 12 days. Here is why we would NOT recommend renting Unit 2021. - The new next door neighbor likes to hang new decorations and blast wall-vibrating music regularly, incl. between the hours of 10 pm and 2am. If you gently knock back on the wall to remind the neighbor that you are trying to sleep, doing so will provoke even harder banging and louder music. - The neighbor across the hall either has a dog or has a friend with a dog who does not like to be left alone and frequently has a high pitch bark for hours on end. On nights when the dog is left in the unit while the tenant goes out, the barking will start around 8pm and will not stop until its owner arrives, generally after midnight or later. This has given me migraine headaches and kept our young children awake. - ‘Washing’ dishes in the dishwasher makes your dishes even dirtier. Yes, even when you rinse the dishes thoroughly before putting them inside. Vomit-inducing gunk and buildup is abundant. The machine is very cheap and has been used for at least 3 years. The management here does not believe in replacement. Their solution to everything is WHITE VINEGAR. They had me run white vinegar loads 4 times in a row on the longest and hottest cycle, so my entire day. All that did was increase my APS & water bill. Their technician told me he would recommend replacement, but he apparently went back on his word and got scared of penny pinching management. I gave up and have hand washed dishes since Christmas. I dared to run the machine last week when I was very busy. More nasty gunk. It would cost less than $400 to replace this low end Kenmore dishwasher. Since I’ve spent approx $55,000 renting the smallest 2 bedroom and issues have been abundant, you’d think mgmt would agree to a replacement, but think again! - Cigarette smoke: I can’t speak for all units, but unit 2021 is surrounded by smokers and/or tenants who invite heavy smokers regularly. The issue is the smokers sit on the balconies and smoke at all times of day and night. This prevents us from getting fresh air by opening windows or enjoying the balcony. Worse of all, the microwave vent is connected to the balcony (I think same on all units), so the unit will begin to smell very strongly of cigarette smoke unless you turn on the microwave vent on high (loud noise) so that air is sucked out in the opposite direction. - Excessive dust. Your view is on a dirt parking lot and construction site so clanging, banging, and excessive dust is the norm. Be ready to dust your interior regularly. Got allergies or asthma? You’ll need to get a HEPA air filter for each room. This cost me $700. Also keep in mind, as offensive as it is, your time, sleepless nights, headache inducing noise, and any and every inconvenience has ZERO value to management. Your complaints will get follow-ups (blah, blah, blah) and even insincere apologies, but do not expect any rent credits, fairness, goodwill, or complimentary anything. To the contrary, management will suck every penny out of you, even when doing so is not fair or justifiable.

Excellent location! The management team is on top of things and the property always looks great. The new staff has been awesome. Anthony in the office is very professional and does his job very well. Angel the maintenance supervisor and his team mate Bobby are the back bone of this community. I would highly recommend this community to any future tenets.

Excellent location, Staff is friendly and amenities are awesome. I looked at multiple apartments 8 months ago and was lucky to get my hands on such a great deal here. The new staff are great. Anthony and Rebecca are very professional and attend to things very quick when asked. I would highly recommend this apartment complex. Keep up the good work guys!

Corporate cuts costs everywhere to increase profit. Doesn't care about residents. IE: no toilet paper in downstairs restrooms for weeks. No sanitizer in fitness center for more than 1 month. No sanitizing cloths in fitness center for weeks. Healthy cleaning products used to be used now PILLAR uses the cheapest cancer causing stuff full of ammonia. Get on an elevator after them and you feel like fainting. Same in the hallways. The smell overwhelms. Hallway carpeting soiled from dogs and trash collectors slinging trash. But at all times a day you can hear laughter coming from downstairs and see staff always walking to get a Starbucks. They just don't work but we sure are happy they enjoy themselves! Jenna Parks needs to be replaced. She is not a leader. #BadManagement
